South Florida Chefs Partner for FREE Drive-Thru Dinner Distribution in Historic Overtown

The Sweet Exchange Miami in partnership with Broken to Inspire, Chef Kulture, The Urban and Kech This Inc. come together to provide FREE DRIVE-THRU DINNER for individuals and families affected by Covid-19 at The Urban 1000 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, Fl 33136; on Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 3pm to 6pm.

“We are providing home cooked full-course meals for the culture by the Kulture. Although we have to remain physically distant we don’t have to distance our social service to our community”, says Sherronda Daye of the Sweet Exchange.

Scrumptious gourmet meals will be prepped and prepared by the black and brown culinary professional network popularly known as Chef Kulture and Sherronda Daye of the Sweet Exchange.

Meals will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis to the Overtown community and participants that pre-register until food has been exhausted.

“Despite the fact that much of our work has slowed down from the pandemic, we haven’t been able to do what we love to do best and that’s cooking. We are excited to come together and give back in our little way,” says Chef Chad Cherry.

“The Urban is happy to be the meeting place for the overtown community and to assist Sherronda in making the people smile,” says President of Urban Philanthropies, Mr. Philip Bacon.
